Yea, I heard there was some vandalism but I would think that the closure is because of Ohio's decision to close many of their scales and go mobile.

I parked in there last week and it looked like there was equipment inside to me- didn't go peek in the windows or anything but it looked like it was just closed, not like it was emptied out. When is it supposed to have been vandalized?

Coop was vandalized and what was not stolen was destroyed inside. The open closed sign was turned off 2 weeks ago, and with the limited budget I dout they will be opening it soon.

As of 05/23/08 there are road closed barricades blocking the scale entrance. Does anyone know if this is a permanent closure or if they are getting ready to modernize or if there is some other reason?

I received a $95 ticket for not pulling into this weigh station. Trooper chased me down about a half mile east for the weigh station. I just blanked out the weigh station. They were nice about it when they had me return to the weigh station but it still cost me $95 on the spot.
