Parking: Exit 68 has the Association of Christian Truckers Road Angel’s Truckers Center with truck parking, showers and laundry north of the freeway west of the Brownsville truck scale. Exit 82 has a McDonald’s and Phillips 66 with a small truck lot and there is a rest area at mile marker 86.5 east of the weigh station. There are also several truck stops in Effingham, Illinois, at the junction with I 57 east of the scale.

There is a sign on the road prior to the exit before the Brownstown weigh station that says “Trucks Over 8 Tons Must Stay on I 70.”
