This scale is always open. Always on the lookout for agriculture. I was stopped one time with a load of plastic pellets from Louisiana and was told to open my doors. They found a very small ant, was unable to identify it, told me because of the fire ants coming from that part of the world that they would have to either make me wait the weekend to identify it or turn me around and go back to NM to get fumigated. I opted for NM and at exit 3, you will see a dock in the old ghost town with a trailer. A guy from AZ comes in and fumigates trailers there for a nice fee.
