The east bound scale is back open and the are definetly trying to pay for all the concrete they used. Only use the US 70 rte if you are 48 or shorter. NCSP says that 53 aren't allowed back there.

These scales are closed tempoary. New scales are being put in and new concrete driveway. Should be up and open again in late March or April.

GOIN WEST ON I-40 GET OFF AT EXIT 143 MAKE A LEFT GO TO HWY 70 MAKE RIGHT GO 5 TO 6 MILES AND FOLLOW SIGNS TO I-40 ON RIGHT EILL BY-PASS SCALES
