Locals say the Plainview weigh station is having legal problems because the residents of the area don't want the truck traffic diverted onto their streets when the trucks exit the scale. However, DOT does set up at this weigh station. Don't count on it always being closed.

They were in there today. The sign said "closed" when I went by but they had trucks lined up for inspections. 3 or 4 vans and a bunch of guys running around in orange jump suits.
