The weigh station is 38 miles west of the Iowa border on route 20. Locals say they will open this truck scale during the spring for several hours at a time, but it's not a 24-hour operation when it's open. One local said he had lived in the area for 30 years and only seen it open twice. It is one scale location for trucks traveling all directions.
