It's silly how you guys fear the scales so much. Log books are not rocket science. Draw your line and start the truck. Hard stuff! I drive thru the scales every week. No problem. It's the idiot, not wearing his seat belt, log book behind and over his hours= that's the guy crying like a woman about the DOT. Boys make excuses, Men make changes.

to the DOT, not a big deal huh? well seing how much these fines you issue we litteraly have to take out a second mortgage or get a personal loan to pay these fines off, one tiny little screw up in a log book is a life and death situation to you guys, us truck drivers are are trying to make an honest living and you DOT's have no respect for us, its not even about safety its about money, by the way the uniforms and the cruisers you drive, you wouldnt have them if it wasnt for us truck drivers everything you own comes in a truck.

In response to "DOT" below:
We devote time to this information because we truckers LIVE it. Knowing the laws, the tolerances and the consequences isn't funny- it's smart. And, if you work there, you're the one handing out the tickets, not the one receiving them. So it's no surprise that it would be no big deal to you. We provide information to help truckers make informed decisions- and no amount of time spent doing that is wasted.
