be extra carefull on rte 236 DOT's are catching on they had a few trucks stopped in front of the dunkin donuts today.

Do not enter Maine without your log book current and legal. They will shut you down and tow you out of the scales. They do not allow you to stay at the scales while your time catches up. Fines a hefty & so are the towing charges.

This scale is rarely open,however be advised that if it is,than you can expect activity on the rt 1 bypass looking for evaders.Check your CB at the NH toll,if open,use exit 5 in NH,follow RT 1 bypass,over draw bridge,bear right onto RT 236 enter rotary and follow RT 236 into S Berwick Me.Turn right onto Rt.4 continue to N Berwick,bear right onto Rt. 9 and follow to Rt 109,T/R onto Rt 109. approx. 2 mi.You will see the entrance to I 95 ( Maine Turnpike) on left. this will bring you out at exit and mile marker 19 on the Maine Turnpike.Expect adding 30 min.to your ETA.
