Parking: There is a small Shell gas station with diesel islands and several truck parking spots at exit 3 in Ohio before you get to the weigh station- the exit is Dry Fork Road. You'll go off the exit, cross over the freeway and get ready to turn right on the side street (no street sign) before the light. If you miss the turn, go to the light at Harrison Ave. and turn right, but you will come around to the Shell and you will need to turn right on that same side street to get to the truck parking entrance.
There is a rest area at mile marker 152 west of the truck scale.

There is a large double-bay inspection building in the back lot of the West Harrison weigh station.

I was put out of service at this scale once. They are not very nice here. They will make you offload if you are overweight and they are constantly doing inspections. I do know they close at 9pm and are usually closed on the weekends. There is unfortunately no easy way around this scale. On the plus side, they are completely clueless about hazardous materials.
