Company-- None.
Truck-- None.
Years driving-- DONE!!
Solo or Team-- Solo yet in a Team environment.
Best city for driving in-- The one I live in.
Worst city for driving in-- See above.
Best/Worst Truck Stop-- They are where they are!.
Hometime-- Everyday!!
c.b. handle-- BLAKOWT, Looney Louis, Looner1, when I am again on the channels.

I'm DONE with the driving arena.
I'm not real certain what exactly I wanna do from now on yet I AM AWARE that it will NOT BE DRIVING. I'll keep renewing my commercial license because once gotten they're easier to keep, and I "might wanna" drive "maybe" at some time, yet not this year anymore, or quite possibly even this decade. Cool

WOW! How did I miss this! You're off the road! I have to say- I'm jealous!

UPDATE!! 9-29

Trucking is NOT like the mafia where one cannot retire or simply move on. Mad

I'm talking of sorts to a OTR company out of California with a Terminal in Archdale, NC.
I'll keep ya updated on this possibility.

I'll be leavin the Tarheel Tuesday 10 Octobre so in effect i'll be "off and runnin' to Hollywood Park"!! Sound familiar to anyone??

I guess for miles and tym factors, I'll be runnin' I-40, yet gosh, I hate W. Memphis AND Ar(not)kansas yet they are better than Chicago or Jersey.

The real 2 bummers so far is that the Kenworth hasn't a CD player, only a cassette player w/am-fm, and
the tranny is an EIGHT SPEED!!
Must be some tall ratios there, eh, yet it IS a manual, so it's better for me.

I'll probably be gone at least two weeks or thereaboots so I'll "talk" 2 ya ALL when I return home.
I don't have a 'puter in the truck nor will I use those available at truck stops and certainly NOT Idle-Aire.

Good luck on the new gig Blank, we'll be lookin' forward to hearin' from ya when ya return.

I don't know anyone who likes W. Memphis. It's one of the few places I actually feel threatened (truck stop-wise). And Arkansas... Driving across Arkansas and eastern Oklahoma seems to take forever. At least in OK you have a 70 mph speed limit and no split speed limit cars vs. trucks.

Whoah- is it a dinosaur or what? You'll have to think about getting an XM (or Sirius) radio... trucking just isn't the same without it!

TTYL! Hope all goes well on your trip! The cross country trips with no BS on either end are the good ones! I have a computer in the truck- use it to check fuel prices and keep up on my bills... and of course to trash around in here!

Let me know how it goes. What are they paying- per mile? Some companies pay their company drivers percentage and I can't figure that out... you know, how it compares per mile. Usually those drivers don't know their miles since their paid percentage. Or maybe they just don't want to tell me.

I like it where I am but it never hurts to look around.

It "appeared" as an eight speed when in actuality it is/was a 13 speed which could also be driven/viewed as a 15 speed.
T-2000=BAD DESIGN.
