What with the ever fluctuating price of a barrel of oil and of course the fluctuating economy due largely to the rise and fall of the interest rate, overall costs of everything being related to everything, seem to increase daily.
With the meager attempts at "going green", WE as a species have sealed our Fate/Doom and it shant be much longer for US upon this tainted Planet.
With all the poisons in our Food, Water, Land, Air--WE haven't much longer to go.
The dying of the Honey Bees is a sign of the imminent end.
The Corporations greed levels are as well signing US as a Race off this Planet.

The only options I see are thus:
1) STOP the output of Fuel refineries!!
2) STOP drilling for more Fossil Fuels!!
3) STOP ALL WARS OF ATTRITION!!
4) STOP trying to control the World!!
5) STOP inventing newer versions of things that ALREADY WORK WELL!!
----
At WHAT POINT of Fuel Price do WE stop driving for good??

I fueled last night at $4.159 and only got a little over 100 gallons for $490.00.
Who'll be driving @ $4.50-$5.00??

$4.619-4.759 in NC as of 22 July 08. (All along I-85, I-40)
$4.619 in Cowpens, SC as of 17 July 08. ( Mr. Waffle, x 83, I-85)
$4.699 in Mt. Belvieu, TX. as of 16 July 08. (Conoco, x 798, I-10)

Wherever I've seen a t.a. and a peelot, they've had the HIGHEST prices OVER whatever average was available.

I just paid 4.41 in Haubstadt,IN at the Pilot. I have noticed fuel prices
dropping like crazy Smile I'm hoping maybe I'll have enough take home
pay to take home.

I hope home heating oil goes down too. I've been wondering how I'm
going to afford fuel for the truck and heat my home. My other alternative
is to drain my water pipes and hot water tank and fill with anti freeze,
move all my houseplants up to mom's and just close my house up for
the winter. The thought of moving back home to mom's at 50 yro is
a scary thought. I wouldn't be a bit suprised if you see a lot of families
moving in together to survive. Just picture one big happy family like
the Waltons Laughing Shocked

Fuel and gas prices have been dropping like crazy. My bottom line
has increased a lot in the last 2 weeks and has allowed me to do some
catch up. The fuel mileage picking up on my truck is picking up.

Ya know RM, I can't remeber when I last saw fuel for under $3 a gal.

A couple of places around here have had diesel for 2.85, and gas for 2.35.

It's election time....the prices will go down until 11.04, then they'll go back up again.

I predict things will settle back at the $4.00 level very soon, like around inauguration day.

And again it climbs towards what it was in '08:

trash america, x 138, I-85/I-40, Gibsonville (yet claimed to be Greensboro) NC, $405.9, Thursday 2/09/12.
Same place, Friday, 2/10, $407.9.

Cheapest anywhere, Greensboro, NC, x 208, Swing rd., WILCO, $3.849 as of Friday eve, 2/10.

Other than that WILCO, x 80, I-85, S.C., Kangaroo Express, $3.649, as of Wednesday, 2/08.

THE DAYS OF $3.00 DIESEL ARE FOREVER GONE AND SOON ENOUGH, THE DAYS OF $4.00 DIESEL WILL JOIN IN THE MEMORY TRACKS.
----
TO ADD A WEE BIT OF POLITICAL MESSAGING;
WHEN WE GO TO WAR WITH SYRIA AND IRAN, FUEL PRICES WILL SKYROCKET and the pointless drilling in North Dakota and Pennsylvania will mean NOTHING, just like the Alaskan Oil meant and still means NOTHING.

CHEERS??
