A word of ***CAUTION***:
If you do go to Hwy. 90, please be aware that in the wee hours of the morning, a frisky DOT decided to escort a truck over to the I-10 Weigh Station to check the weight (just for his own curiosity). OH NO!!!
If you are EB on I-10, another alternative is to take Exit 225, Hwy. 19S, to the stop sign, make a left and follow 27EB to Perry. Make a left in Perry at the lite, otherwise, you will end up on 19S, Old Town scales (and they are usually open).
Once you make the left in Perry, following the signs for 27EB, you will cross a little bridge and see an Ag Station on your left. You pull over on the right. They will usually just flag you on. Then you will come upon a Weigh Station on your right that weighs EB and WB, but they are not always open.
