Parking: there are various places for truck parking in Elko (exit 301, 303) west of the scales. There is a Pilot in Carlin at exit 280 west of the scales and two Flying Js in Wells at exit 352 east of the scales.

DOT will set up here on occasion- they do not run a 24 hour operation when they are open
