This weigh station is fairly poorly marked. You can easily miss it- and they can't see you from the weigh station. There are no guarantees they won't have a chase car waiting on the ramp, however.

Take I-695 east to I-97 south to US-50 west back to I-95 to get around this weigh station

Yes my fellow truckers, this is a real DOT inspection area and they do enforce the law if you try to bypass it. They have a mobile unit that takes high definition photographs of you and your DOT number... and they will mail a citation to the holder of said number along with the photos of the violator. There is no permenant scale in use here, they perform mostly DOT inspections and test fuel for dye. Some days they pick on certain types of trucks, other it's a free-for-all. My advice is not to bypass this, even though most truckers do, the fine is pretty high and is definately not worth the trouble !
