Parking: There was a Boom Town truck stop at exit 4 in Nevada east of the scale- but it is closed now. There are several truck stops in Reno- good luck finding parking in them, though. There is a rest area west of the scale.
Information
Parking is not allowed at the Truckee weigh station. If a tired trucker asks to park, officers may, at their discretion, allow the driver to park. But parking is strongly discouraged. Parking is also not allowed at the adjacent Agricultural Inspection.
