Parking: There is a Citgo fuel stop just south of the Midland City check station. There is a Flying J Truck Stop at the junction of route 231/Oates St and Ross Clark Circle on the south side of Dothan. The Inland Travel Plaza is located on the south side of Ozark, north of the Dothan truck scale.
Information
This is a south bound check station for portables and paperwork inspections. Locals say that DOT does set up here from time to time.

they do set scales up at hwy 231 Midlandcity,alabama ,but its not very often,there is a scale just south of Ozark,alabama on hwy 231 that is in the road way ,wieghs you as you drive over them , north and south bound lanes.
